SIMPHONY: voucher redemption and gift card top-up at the cash register

The following content was translated using AI and reviewed by our team. Please note that some images are still being updated.

Redeem vouchers and gift cards directly at the Oracle Simphony POS. In addition, flexible-load gift cards managed in incert can be sold and loaded directly via Simphony. This means that no login to incert is required when redeeming a voucher or gift card, or when selling a gift card.

If you are interested in this interface, we would be happy to hear from you at sales@incert.at. The interface must also be ordered from Innconcepts.

Please note that installation can only be carried out by Innconcepts and not by Oracle or another Oracle partner. For an offer for the license and installation of the interface, please contact verkauf@innconcepts.at and include the number of desired installations (location(s), POS terminals).

You can also find the integration listed in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

Process - redemption

  1. In Simphony, select “Pay” and then “Incert”.
  2. The screen for entering or scanning a voucher number will open. Confirm with “OK”.
  3. Simphony searches for the voucher in incert in the background and checks the current value. If the voucher value exceeds the invoice amount, Simphony displays the remaining balance.
  4. Simphony marks the voucher in incert as redeemed or partially redeemed.

Please note that we cannot provide assistance for actions performed in third-party systems. This description has been prepared to the best of our knowledge. In case of doubt or questions, please contact the system provider directly.

Process - gift card loading

Information and screenshots for operating the interface will be added as soon as they are made available to us by the POS provider.

Important notes

  • No mapping to services, items, or tax rates is performed in Simphony. The voucher is used and deducted as a payment method.
  • Partial redemptions are supported. Any remaining balance stays on the incert voucher and can be used for future redemptions.
  • Redemptions can also be reversed or cancelled via Simphony. In this case, the redemption will also be reversed in incert.
  • Loading flexible-load gift cards is supported via the interface. The card is scanned and loaded in Simphony, and Simphony transfers the selected amount to the corresponding code in incert.
  • Simphony supports different terminal IDs and therefore enables statistical reporting for individual POS terminals in incert. For portal systems, statistical assignment of POS terminals to businesses sharing the same incert system is possible.
