INTERALP: Voucher redemption during booking

The following content was translated using AI and reviewed by our team. Please note that some images are still being updated.

Your guests can redeem vouchers directly during the booking process on INTERALP. The voucher is validated via incert and automatically redeemed in the background.

If you're interested in this interface, feel free to contact us at sales@incert.at. The interface must also be commissioned through INTERALP.

Process

  1. During the INTERALP booking process, guests can enter their voucher code in the “Voucher code” field in the shopping cart.
  2. INTERALP displays the voucher deduction in the “Redeemed vouchers” section of the booking summary. Optionally, multiple vouchers can be redeemed in the same booking.
  3. Once the booking is completed, the voucher is automatically redeemed in incert via INTERALP.
  4. The booking is then transferred from INTERALP to the PMS.

Please note that incert only has insight into the connection and processes between incert and INTERALP. Any further processing or transmission to third-party systems (especially the PMS) is beyond our control. We recommend checking with INTERALP how and which voucher redemption details are transferred to your PMS.

  5. The booking confirmation includes the redeemed voucher code and its value.

Please note that we cannot provide support for third-party system actions. This documentation has been prepared to the best of our knowledge. In case of questions, please contact the respective system provider directly.

Important Notes

  • Multiple vouchers can be redeemed per booking.
  • No mapping to services or items is performed.
  • Partial redemptions are possible. The remaining balance stays on the voucher and can be used for future bookings. Package vouchers can also be configured to disallow partial redemptions.
  • Vouchers without value (e.g., sponsorship vouchers) cannot be redeemed.
  • Imported legacy vouchers can be redeemed unless blocked in incert (e.g. due to simple or sequential codes).
  • Redemption of expired or unpaid vouchers can be controlled in the incert settings.
  • In portal systems, different “Booking Partner IDs” can be used for different INTERALP properties. This allows redemptions to be statistically assigned to specific hotels sharing the same incert system. A separate incert integration is also possible per hotel/property.
  • If a booking paid with a voucher is cancelled, the redemption is not automatically reversed via the interface.
  • The transfer of the booking and voucher redemption to other third-party systems (especially the PMS) is outside of incert’s responsibility.
