Integration into the website

This article is intended for web agencies. Therefore, the following explanations are not entirely formulated for non-experts. However, for web agencies, all points should be easily understandable and should not cause disproportionate effort. Under no circumstances can or may incert work on the customer's website code. We therefore ask for your understanding that the integration cannot be carried out by incert.

Process for new projects

A subdomain of the customer's website can be used for the integration. To do this, the A-record of the desired subdomain must be set to an IP address provided by incert and communicated to incert. Incert will purchase an SSL certificate for the subdomain, which will be automatically renewed annually (for a fee). Alternatively, a subdomain from incert (traumgutscheine.com – this is not visible to the visitor, who only sees the URL of the website) can be used. In this case, there are no costs for the domain or SSL certificate.
At the beginning of the project, the incert system is embedded into a page that is not yet linked or indexed. This page should not yet be found by website visitors.
Afterward, the system is filled with content by the shop operator and adjusted by incert to fit the design of the website.
Finally, a written approval is given for linking the system and indexing it in search engines and website search.

Process for relaunches

The incert system will be integrated into the new website. Depending on the project implementation, a template switch based on the IP address is usually used internally at incert to adjust the design to the new website while the previous design remains in use on the old website.
The relaunch date must be coordinated with incert in advance. Some adjustments can only be made during the relaunch itself, otherwise, the live operation of the shop on the previous website would be interrupted. In particular, the dynamic height adjustment (to prevent a cropped shop or an empty space under the shop) must be checked and, if necessary, adjusted.
Immediately after the relaunch, check the functionality of the incert system. Specifically, check whether the height dynamically adjusts to the displayed content and whether the payment provider's window opens correctly at the end of the order process.

Integration

The integration is done via an iFrame, which is inserted into the website using JavaScript. A container must be added to the integration page in the desired location, in which the incert system will be displayed.

After this, the incert system integration follows. The customer-defined subdomain is indicated as the placeholder CUSTOMERURL.

Languages

Not every system is prepared for multiple languages. If there is any uncertainty, you can contact service@incert.at. To call a specific language, the integration is extended with the language parameter "?language=ID". The customer-defined subdomain is indicated as the placeholder CUSTOMERURL.

Subshops

To integrate subshops, the respective ID must be specified in the sub_shop_id parameter – here, represented with the example ID 99. This ID will be provided to you after the subshop is set up by incert.

Consent

The incert system only uses technically necessary cookies. If the shop operator adds tracking, consent can be managed through the website within the incert system.
